Parkland Ambulance were among the first responders and said the injured were in good condition.
Spokesperson Lyle Karasiuk is reminding drivers to be careful given the mix of warmer weather and recent snowfall has made things difficult on the roads.

A police spokesperson said in situations like this, moose – which weigh around 1,000 pounds – can be pulled off the highway by ministry crews or a tow truck. In this particular case the animal was reported as ‘not dead yet’ and was in the ditch. In these instances the moose may be left for “nature to take its course, and it’ll be gone in two days.”
