A 46-year-old Prince Albert man is facing charges of trafficking in cocaine along with having proceeds of crime over $5,000 following a traffic stop on 15 Street East on Thursday.
Prince Albert Police’s Crime Reduction Team pulled a vehicle over in the 800 Block of 15 Street East and arrested the man for drug trafficking offences.
That led to the search of a home in the East Flat early this morning.
Officers seized $22,665 in Canadian currency, 16.5 ounces of cocaine, 10.6 ounces of cutting agent, a loaded 9mm handgun, three rifles, ammunition and drug trafficking paraphernalia.
Darren Boucher was charged and appeared in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Friday morning.
